Alpaca wool is one of the most valuable natural fibers in the world! It offers a unique sleeping comfort. Air pockets in the fiber store heat and release it again when needed, so the blanket is pleasantly warm in winter and at a good temperature in summer. In addition, alpaca wool has practically no lanolin (wool fat) and therefore offers no breeding ground for mites and bacteria.

Our blankets and cushions are 100% filled with the wool of our Gschnitzer alpacas, which we keep under optimal conditions. The alpacas are always shorn in May and are happy to be able to enjoy the summer without all the wool.
